Patricia Darlene Mccommon

Patricia McCommon, 82, of Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Ave Marie Village, Jamestown.

Patricia Darlene Donegan was born March 17, 1929, in Stickney, SD the daughter of James and Marie (Dunn) Donegan. In 1932, the family moved to Edgeley, ND where they lived until 1940 when they moved to Jamestown. She attended school at St. John's Academy, graduating in 1948.. Patricia married Donald W. McCommon, Sr. on January 17, 1951. They remained in Jamestown where Pat was employed throughout her life by Equity Creamery, Dr. Ted Funda, DDS, Dr. Zimmerman & Urban Optometrists, as well as the Prairie Post.

Pat was a member of the St. James Basilica, St. Bernadette Circle, Tabernacle Society, VFW Auxiliary, and Hillcrest Women's Golf Association.

Most of all, Pat enjoyed family gatherings and special times with each and every one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, including many holiday meals and, of course, the annual cookie baking on the day after Thanksgiving.

Pat is survived by two daughters, Cel (Myron) Schlafman, Jamestown and Diane (Mike) Opdahl, Larimore, ND; two sons, Guy (Linda Lang) McCommon, Mandan, ND and Donald (Betty) McCommon, Jr., Bismarck, Nd; two brothers, Frances Donegan, Jamestown and Vic Donegan, Pueblo, CO; one sister, Pricilla Gilman, Auburn, WA; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. McCommon, Sr.; one infant son; parents; three brothers; and three sisters.

Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2011at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, ND.

Rosary - 6:45 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services in the church.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
