Patricia Wiley

Patricia K. Wiley, 61, Jamestown, N.D. died Thursday, July 11, 2002 at her home of a heart attack.

Patricia was born July 15, 1940 in Pierre, SD, the daughter of T.B. ""Bud"" and Dorothy (Alexander) Wiley. She was raised in Jamestown, N.D., graduating from Jamestown High School. She was a 1962 honors graduate of Jamestown College. She was a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship studying in Aix en Provence, France. In 1964 Pat received her Masters Degree in English from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and taught the following year at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

Patricia lived in Berkeley, California for a number of years before returning to Jamestown, N.D. in 1981.

Patricia is survived by her brothers, Timothy Wiley, of Jamestown, N.D.; Thomas (Gail) Wiley, of Montpelier, N.D.; one aunt, Margaret Anderson, of Jamestown, N.D.; nieces and nephews, Paul, Laura, Corey, and Sara Wiley. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James.

Funeral Service: 10:30 - Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at First United Methodist Church, Jamestown, N.D., with Rev. Dick Boyd officiating.

Visitation: Monday, July 15, 2002 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Eddy Funeral Home - Jamestown, N.D.
