Paul Anthony Beyer

Specialist Paul Beyer, 21, Jamestown, ND, died Friday, June 23, 2006 at Baghdad, Iraq.
Paul Anthony Beyer was born March 8, 1985 at St. Paul, MN, the son of Scott and Jillene (Seibert) Beyer. He moved, at age 4, with his family to Jamestown, ND, where he attended Gussner Elementary School and Jamestown High School, graduating in 2003. On February 15, 2005, he married Calli Conley at Jamestown, ND. He enlisted in the United States Army and graduated from basic training in July of 2005. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, KY. He was deployed to Iraq in October of 2005 and was serving near Baghdad, Iraq at the time of his death.
Paul enjoyed camping and fishing, hanging out with his friends, rock music, movies, jokes and had a great deal of respect for his family and grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Calli, Jamestown, ND; parents, Scott and Jillene Beyer, Jamestown, ND; 2 brothers: Daniel (Sherry) Beyer, Grand Forks, ND and Jonathan Beyer, Jamestown, ND; a sister, Leah Beyer, Jamestown, ND and a nephew, Lestat Beyer, Grand Forks, ND; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Beatrice Beyer, Wadena, MN and his maternal grandfather, Clyde Seibert, Sebeka, MN.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother.
Funeral - 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Jamestown, ND. The service can also be seen on closed circuit television in the theatre at Jamestown High School.
Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2006 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Jamestown, ND.
Visitation - 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2006 and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services at St. Paul's United Methodist Church on Monday.
