Paul Morehouse

Paul Steven Morehouse, at age 57, passed away on July 19th, 2017 in Jamestown, ND. He was born on March 14, 1960 in Pierre, SD to Palmer and Marlene (Lippert) Morehouse. Paul attended school in Eldridge and Jamestown. He grew up with a musical family and played in several country-western bands. His passions included fishing, hunting, camping, racing cars, playing guitar, and his dog Jake.

As a youngster, he learned the trade of carpentry with his dad and was able to make his living. He worked as a contractor in Iowa, Minnesota, and North Dakota.

Paul is survived by his children, Julie (Zach) Mithun, David (Shannan Moore) Morehouse, and Katie (Prentice Kollman) Morehouse, and two granddaughters Zoey Mithun and Emmaline Morehouse; eight sisters and one brother, Rhonda (Vahn) Stone, Brenda (Jon) Dahl, Ramona (Gene) Just, Vanessa (Ron) Frink, Shani (Shawn) Crane, Crystal (Randy Nelson) Morehouse, Lanita (Brad Larson) Morehouse, John Morehouse, and Penny (Bob) Heery, along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

No visitation. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 26th, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Eddy Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Zimmer officiating. Burial will follow the service at Courtenay Cemetery.
