Paul C. Schmidt

Paul Christ "Tiny" Schmidt, 43, Jamestown, ND died Thursday, March 13, 2014 at his home.

Paul was born June 16, 1970 in Jamestown, the son of Roy and Helen (Lachenmeier) Schmidt. He grew and attended school in Jamestown, graduating from Jamestown High School in 1989. He worked at Bonanza in both Jamestown and Detroit Lakes, MN. In 1993 he started his career at Newman Signs where he worked until his death. Paul married Roberta Leean in 1994 and together they had three children; Brandon, 22, Justin, 16 and Elizabeth, 12.

Paul was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown. He enjoyed hunting trips with his friends for 21 years. He also enjoyed camping with family and friends.

Paul is survived by his wife, Roberta; three children, Brandon, Justin and Elizabeth, all of Jamestown; four brothers, Ron (Diane) Schmidt, Edgeley, ND, Steve (Rachel) Schmidt, Bismarck, ND, Terry (Veronica) Schmidt, Colorado Springs, CO and Rick (Kathy) Schmidt, Bismarck; his twin sister, Paulette Metz, Jamestown; father-in-law, Gary Leean (Vivian Heier); mother-in-law, Cheryl Leean; brother-in-law, Nolan Leean; Uncle Darryl Neva, all of Jamestown; 15 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; lots of family and many long time friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
