Paul Statema

Paul Statema 42, Jamestown, ND passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at his home, due to ongoing health issues. Paul was born May 8, 1974 in Linton, ND to John and Rosemary (Wenda) Statema. During several moves with the family Paul attended school in McHenry, Glenfield-Sutton-McHenry, and he graduated high school in Carrington in 1993. Paul then went on to college at UND Lake Region in Devils Lake, ND. Earning an Associate's Degree in 1995. He would later live in Carrington and work at the Pasta Plant. Paul then moved to Jamestown where he was employed with Cavendish Farms. He later moved to Minot and started working for Professional Trans. Inc., transporting railroad personnel. Paul ended up moving to Jamestown where he worked at Menard's and delivering newspapers. He always had a smile and a conversation for everyone and will be deeply missed.
Paul is survived by one brother John (Jill) Statema; one niece, Jazzlyn; one nephew, Jett, all of Valley City, ND and many cousins and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
