Pearl Bartle

Pearl Bartle, 78, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Monday, November 1, 2004 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown.

Pearl was born to William and Mathilda (Rohde) Hirth on August 22, 1926 in Edgeley, ND. She attended country school graduating from Edgeley High School in 1946. Pearl married Willie Bartle on October 16, 1954 in Dickey, North Dakota. She was active in the Homemakers Club and the Willow Grove and Dickey Methodist churches. Pearl was a wonderful wife and mother and loved living on the Bartle farm, which was northeast of Edgeley. She made the move off the farm, from which she lived on from October 1954 to September 1992 , to her home in Jamestown, where she lived until October 1998 when she entered Hi-Acres Manor. Willie died July 30, 2003.

Pearl is survived by her two daughters, Tanya (Kenneth) Worrall, Rolla, ND (two grandsons, Travis & Jonathan Worrall) and Renae (Al) Merkel, Billings, MT and one sister, Pauline Krieger, Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son and one brother, Kenneth.

Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 4, 2004 at First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown with Rev. Richard Reynolds officiating.

Visitation: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Mt. Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, North Dakota.
