Pearl Edinger, 84, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, May 5, 2003 at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown. Pearl Grace Wobbema was born July 30, 1918 to Peter and Sophie (Zuling) Wobbema in Oakwood Township, Volga, South Dakota. Pearl married Ralph Edinger May 6, 1945 at Carrington, North Dakota. They moved to Jamestown in 1950. Pearl was active in Boy Scouts, was a life member of the Eagles Auxiliary and a member of Buffalo City Campers & Hikers. She was a charter member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

She volunteered for 32 years at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown, 2 years at the Anne Carlsen School for Crippled Children and she worked for 22 years as a special education teacher's aide. She retired from teaching at age 62 and has lived her retirement years here in Jamestown.

She is survived by four sons, Lyle (Joyce) Paulson, Fargo; Gerald (Cathy) Paulson, Carrington; David (Karen) Edinger, Wheatland, WY; Chuck Edinger (Justine Hanneman), Jamestown; three daughters, Doris (Don) Workentine, Sturgis, SD; Darlene (James) Porter, Jamestown; Doris (Sam) Storrs, Cohasset, MN; one step-son, Francis Edinger, Bellingham, WA; one step-daughter Clara Marie (Donald) Mitchell, Bellingham, WA; a daughter-in-law Lou Krtinich, International Falls, MN, 29 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one brother, Harold Wobbema, Minot and three sisters, Mildred Lies, New Rockford; Nellie Duursma, Carrington and Jennie Lepley, Shevlin, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, one son, Ralph Krtinich and nine brothers and sisters and one daughter-in-law, Karen Edinger.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, May 9, 2003 at Atonement Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. Steve Berntson officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 8, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota.
