Pearl E. Johnson, 68, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Central Dakota Village in Jamestown.
Pearl Bergstrand was born April 23, 1936 in Moorhead, MN the daughter of Henry and Lillian (Becker) Bergstrand. She grew up and attended school in Valley City, ND. On June 25, 1957 she married Harold Johnson in Valley City. They moved to Jamestown in 1962. She worked various jobs in Jamestown throughout the years.
Pearl enjoyed bowling, square dancing, camping, spending Saturday nights at the races and playing pinochle.
Pearl is survived by her husband, Harold of Jamestown; two daughters, Grace (Dan) Augspurger, Las Vegas, NV and LaDonna (Dale) Feist, Minneapolis, MN; two sons, Danny Schmidt, Las Vegas, NV and Spencer (Amee) Johnson, Jamestown; two brothers, Edwin (Pearl) Bergstrand, Chicago, IL and John (Eunice) Bergstrand, Valley City, ND; five sisters, Mary (Earl) Kasowski, Buffalo, ND, Jean (Sidney) Coombs, Garden City, KS, Pauline Polumn, Renton, WA, Eleanora (Richard) Quast, Valley City, ND and Joan (Ross) Bryan, Seattle, WA; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Alex, one brother, Joseph, in infancy and one brother-in-law, Ben.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, September 27, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. Terry Anderson officiating.
Visitation: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday, September 23, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial: St. Petri Cemetery, Nome, North Dakota.
