Pearl D. Ross

Pearl D. Ross, 94, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown.

Pearl Daisy Christensen was born October 31, 1916 in Jamestown, the daughter of Christ and Edith (Gallagher) Christensen. She received her education in rural country schools north of Jamestown. On April 16, 1938 Pearl married Verlon Ross in Mason City, IA. She worked at the City Laundry in Jamestown for many years, retiring in 1987.

She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, bingo and crafts.

Pearl is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Ruth Ross, Jamestown; two grandchildren, Jeff Ross, Pettibone, ND and Cherie Ross, Woodworth, ND; 7 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Myrtle Batesole, Minneapolis, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; five brothers and four sisters.
