Pedro Migel Gort

Pedro Gort, 56, of Jamestown, ND, formerly pf Miami, FL, passed Monday, January 3, 2022 at his home.

Pedro was born October 13, 1965 in Florida, the son of Jose and Rosa (Mirbal) Gort.  He graduated from PACE High School, Miami.  He was a truck driver for many years for R & L Carriers, among other firms.  Pedro loved trucking the southern routes of the United States.  He married Debra Sharp on July 10, 1987 in Hialeah, FL and they recently made their home in Jamestown.

Pedro is survived by his wife, Debra; five children, Pedro Jr., Rose, Lawrence, Alysia, and Crystal; four grandchildren, Pedro III, Richard, Violet, and Lawrence, Jr.; and brother, Jose.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family viewing was held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Eddy Funeral Home.
