Ralph Huebner

Ralph Huebner, 68, of Jamestown, ND, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 27, 2016 at Essentia Health, Fargo.

Ralph Huebner was born July 29, 1947, in Jamestown, the son of Ezra and Helen (Dunstan) Huebner. He grew up on the family farm in Severn Township and attended country schools in Sydney and Millarton before graduating from Montpelier High School. Ralph earned his teaching degree from Minot State University. He taught and coached sports in various schools in North Dakota. While he was teaching in Kramer, ND, he met and eventually married Janine Waters at the Lutheran Church in Kramer on February 18, 1972. Ralph loved substitute teaching and coaching traveling teams in his later years. He also liked going to casinos, visiting with friends, and attending sporting events.

Ralph is survived by son, Chad (Carrie) Huebner, Jamestown; daughter, Kristi (Jon) Thiseth, Fargo, ND; son Greg Huebner, Jamestown; son, Mark Huebner, Jamestown; son, Todd Huebner, Harvey, ND; four grandchildren, Coty, Talor, and Bella Huebner and Ethan Thiseth; brother, Richard (Janice) Huebner, Jamestown; and sister, Susan (Robert) Pendray, Shakopee, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janine; and brother, Gerald.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, Jamestown with Pastor Elmo Herman officiating.

Visitation : 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
