Randall Kellogg, 58, Jamestown, North Dakota died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, North Dakota.
Randall Dean Kellogg was born October 9, 1951 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Maurice Dean and Velma Mae (Heinz) Kellogg. He attended elementary school in Avenue City, Missouri and high school at North Andrew in Rosendale, Missouri. Randall attended vocational school in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was the manager of the Rosendale Lumber Co. until joining the Wal-Mart corporation in 1986. He started at the Savannah, Missouri store then transferred to Maryville, Missouri where he completed the management program. In 1991, he started his tour of North Dakota Wal-Mart's starting at Jamestown then Dickinson, Devils Lake, Grand Forks, Williston and then returned to Jamestown where he was currently an assistant manager. Randall's passion was his hobby of photography which he took every available spare moment to partake in. His photos grace the 1649 store associates lounge. Randall was a member of the Jamestown Lions Club and the Choralaires, a local men's choral group. Randall is survived by his sister, Melanie (Bill) Jackson, Weslaco, TX; aunts, Janice Heinz, Gladstone, MO, Bonnie Perkins, Pawnee City, NE and one uncle, Melvin Heinz, St. Charles, MO; brothers and sisters in heart, Dave (Michele) Bessard, Minot, ND, Keith (Wendy) Schmaltz, Bismarck, ND; many nieces and nephews in heart, Josh and Caitlin Bessard, Minot and Shayla, Sheradyn & Braxton Schmaltz, Bismarck along with his extended family of Wal-Mart associated whom each and every one he loved deeply.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Velma in 1980 and his father, Maurice earlier in the same day of Randall's passing. He was also preceded in death by loving aunts and uncles.
