Randy Eugene Grommish

Randy Grommish, 45, Jamestown, North Dakota died Friday, December 21, 2007 at his home.

Randy Eugene Grommish was born July 15, 1962 in LaMoure, ND, the son of Quentin Robert and Darlene June (Schlichting) Grommish. He moved with his family to Jamestown where he attended Jamestown High School. He worked at the Jamestown Sun, Dakota Inn, Gussner Elementary, and most recently the Gladstone Select Inn. Randy married Dawn Henjum on June 20, 1992 in Jamestown at Concordia Lutheran Church. He was active in Special Olympics, winning several awards. Randy enjoyed fishing and sports.

Randy is survived by his wife, Dawn, of Jamestown; three sisters, Carol (Paul) Huff, Mina, SD, Dorothy (Darwin) Kersting, Fargo, ND, and Sandy (Dave Rickford) Ruark, Jamestown, ND; two brothers, Curtis and Terry, both of Fargo, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Albert.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 9:00AM to 2:00PM, Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Prairie View Cemetery, Wimbledon, ND.
