Randy Klose Jr.

Randy Scott Klose, Jr., 19, Mandan, North Dakota, went home to his heavenly Father on July 18, 2009.

Randy was born June 7, 1990 in Jamestown, North Dakota, the son of Randy and Lori (Hoyt) Klose. He spent his earliest years in Dillon, CO, Jamestown, ND, Kenesaw, NE, Salina, KS, Kiron, IA and Ponca City, Oklahoma, before returning to Bismarck, North Dakota in 2004.

Randy enjoyed playing video games, writing short stories and poetry, drawing pictures, playing his guitar, listening to music, reading books and going to the river. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his niece, Cali. The happiest day of his life was when his son, Caeden, was born.

Randy was an intelligent, caring, witty, comical and loving daddy, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, grandson and friend. When he loved, he loved with all his heart. He will be missed forever and never forgotten.

Randy is survived by his son, Caeden, Bismarck, ND; mother, Lori Klose, Mandan, ND; father and stepmother, Randy Klose and Cheri Rohrich, Bismarck, ND; one sister, Lacey Klose (Chad Meuchel) and their daughter, Cali Meuchel, Mandan, ND; five brothers, Ryan Gulstad and Josh (Amy) Gulstad, both of West Fargo, ND, Lucas (Tera Ankenbauer) Gulstad, Bismarck, ND, Jacob Rohrich, Bismarck, ND and TiLer Teske, Bismarck, ND; grandparents, Elmer and Eldora Klose, Jamestown, ND and Mylerna Hoyt, McHenry, ND; great-grandmother, Marie Middlestead, Jamestown; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harvey Hoyt in 1987; stepfather, Greg Thompson in 2003, and a cousin, Tyler Short in 2005.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, July 24, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
