Randy Sarbaum

Randy Sarbaum, 58, Jamestown, ND, died unexpectedly at his home June 17, 2014.
Randall Scott John Sarbaum was born November 27, 1955, the son of Louis and Dorothy (Matt) Sarbaum. He graduated from Marion High School in 1974, where he was an all-sports figure, excelling at basketball. He continued his education at SSS-Wahpeton, graduating in 1977. Prior to his death he was employed by the City of Jamestown. Randy enjoyed hunting, training his hunting dog, and fishing. An uncle to many nieces and nephews, he attended many of their activities especially baseball and basketball games.
Randy leaves his mother, Dorothy Sarbaum, LaMoure, ND; three brothers, Lonnie (Karen), Jamestown, DeLoy (Pat), Marion, and Rodney (Jan), Marion; and sister, Marcia (Willie) Dunn, LaMoure, ND; and many loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis; sister, JoAnn; nephew, Alec Anagnost; and niece, Jennifer Sarbaum.

Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, with Father Joe Barrett officiating.
Vigil: 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2014 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Burial: St. Francis Cemetery, Marion.
