Ray Webster Baker, 87, Jamestown, ND died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at his home.
Ray was born March 3, 1926 in Milwaukee, OR, the son of Bryant and Hazel (Purintun) Baker. He received his elementary education in Emmons City, ND and attended Braddock High School. The family lived in Milwaukee, OR, Hazelton, ND, Kintyre, ND and settled in the Ypsilanti, ND area. He farmed all his adult life and purchased the family farm in 1962. Upon his retirement he moved into Jamestown where he has resided since.
He enjoyed farming and spending time with family and friends.
Ray is survived by one brother, Grant Baker, LaMoure, ND; three sisters, Florence McClean, Jamestown, Olive Ackerman, Lynchburg, VA and Mabel Noot, Valley City, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Opal, Lillian, Fern and Lottie; and six brothers, Bruce, Russell, Boyd, Lester, Leslie and Charles.
