Raymond Odenbach

Raymond ""Ray"" Odenbach, 69, rural Woodworth, North Daktoa died Friday, April 22, 2011 at his home.

Ray was born May 3, 1941 in Woodworth, the son of Donald A. and Bernice (Brophy) Odenbach. Ray grew up in the Woodworth area and graduated from Woodworth High School. While growing up Ray was active in 4-H. He attended NDSU in Fargo. On October 19, 1963 Ray married Sally Loose in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Woodworth. Ray owned and operated a grain and beef farm.

Ray was a member of the Woodworth Elevator Board, school board, ASC committee, the FHA board, Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a township assessor for Paris Township.

He enjoyed fishing, deer and pheasant hunting and visiting with friends at the coffee shop.

Ray is survived by his wife, Sally, Woodworth; three sons, Wayne Odenbach, Woodworth, Brad Odenbach, Fargo, ND and Jim Odenbach (fiancee, Lynette Soule), Woodworth; two grandsons, Hunter and Chase; one granddaughter, Pam; four brothers, Donald, Jr. (Carol) Odenbach, Gene (Marlene) Odenbach, and Robert (LaRue) Odenbach, all of Woodworth, and Allen (Jan) Odenbach, Fargo, ND; and one sister, Sally (Sutin) Sorawat, Grand Fork, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
