Raymond Rosenau

Raymond Rosenau, 85, Jamestown, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at MeritCare Hospital Fargo.

Mr. Rosenau was born May 7, 1921 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, the son of Edward and Rose (Wahl) Rosenau. His family moved to Eldridge, ND where he grew up and attended school. He served in the Signal Core in Sacramento, California. He married Doris Johnson on May 10th, 1943 in Eldridge where they farmed before moving to Great Falls, Montana for a brief time. They eventually made their home in Jamestown, ND where he worked for Fairmont Foods. He retired in 1979.

Ray is survived by two sons, Gary (Carol) Rosenau of Ada, MN; Rodney (Vicki) Rosenau of Valley City, ND.; a daughter, Susan (Kerry) Peuser of Fargo; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister, Edna Mae (Leonard) Norheim, Kensal, ND, one brother, Harlan (Ardelle) Rosenau, Eldridge, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, who died in 1999.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Tuesday, June 12, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Rev. Dennis Ellingsen officiating.

Visitation: 1:00PM to 7:30PM, Monday, June 12, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Prayer Service: 7:30PM, Monday, June 12, 2006 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
