Raymond Schwehr, 59, Erskine, MN, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Pioneer Memorial Care Center, Erskine, MN.

Raymond Schwehr was born August 13, 1950 in Jamestown, ND, the son of George and Elizabeth (Gurski) Schwehr. He attended St. Catherine's School in Valley City, ND, graduating in 1969. He then attended Wahpeton State School of Science, graduating in 1971 with at degree in Auto Mechanics. In 1970, Ray married Marcia Steele. He worked in sales, as a carpenter and as a mechanic. He later married Linda Jackson (Kincannon).

Ray was a friendly gentleman who was a "Jack of all trades". He sold merchandise, did carpentry and worked on anything that had an engine. He was God-fearing man who had a gift to figure things out.

Survivors include his 3 daughters: Carrie Schwehr and Heather Schwehr, both Fargo, ND and Mary Schwehr, Colorado; 3 sons, David (Jessica) Schwehr and Danny (Karena) Schwehr, both Fargo, ND and John Schwehr, Colorado; his mother, Elizabeth Schwehr, Jamestown, ND; 2 brothers: Ron (Rose) Schwehr, Roseau, MN; Don (Melida) Schwehr, Jamestown, ND; 2 sisters: Linda Ratay, Newport, MN; Lois Laches, Regent, ND and a special friend, Christine Boushee, East Grand Forks, MN.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Service - 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND.

Interment - Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
