Rena Grothman

Rena Grothman, 50, Fargo, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND died Wednesday, August 21, 2013.

Rena Redinger was born March 1, 1963 in Jamestown, ND. She attended Jamestown schools, graduating from Jamestown High School in 1981. Rena married John Grothman on November 6, 1982 in Jamestown. She worked as a Pharmacy Tech at the Medicine Shoppe in Jamestown until 2007, then when the family moved to Fargo, she continued to work for the Medicine Shoppe in Fargo.

Rena enjoyed shopping for her children and grandchildren and she loved playing with her grandchildren. She was a hockey mom and was known for her sugar cookies.

Rena is survived by her husband, John, Fargo; son, Corey (Jessica) Grothman, Chaska, MN; daughter, Karen (Jade) Eckroth, Jamestown; two grandchildren, Taylor and Gabriel; mother, Kathleen Madden, Jamestown; one sister, Darla (Jerry) Van Erem, Jamestown; two brothers, Dale Redinger, Jamestown and Mark Redinger, Carrington, ND; and mother-in-law, Myra Grothman, Fargo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Madden and father-in-law, Dennis Grothman.
