Reuben Kramlich, 78, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Jamestown Hospital.

Reuben was born October 8, 1928 in Logan County, North Dakota, the son of Samuel and Magdalena (Jundt) Kramlich. He grew up and attended rural Logan County Schools. On October 9, 1955 Reuben married Arlene Frey in Lehr, ND. Reuben and Arlene began farming in the Lehr and Wishek, ND area until 1963. They moved to Kulm, ND and worked at the Hartman Ranch until 1979. They then moved to Jamestown where he was employed at Jamestown Public Schools until 1993.

Reuben enjoyed reading, watching television,vacationing and driving around the countryside.

Reuben is survived by his wife, Arlene, of Jamestown; three sons, Darcy of Grassy Butte, ND, Ramsey of Tioga, ND and Blakely of Durango, CO; three daughters, Brenda Schlenker, Fargo, ND, Beverly (Darin) Goter, Jamestown and Bonny Kramlich (Todd Lippert), Jamestown; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Willie Kramlich, Richmond, CA, Benny Kramlich, Puyallup, WA, Fred Kramlich, West Fargo, ND and Edward Kramlich, Gackle, ND and one sister, Ida Marcus, San Francisco, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Gust, Jake, Ernest, Sam, Edwin, August and John; five sisters, Lyda Enzi, Bertha Wallenten, Matilita Tarnasky, Mary Conn and Pauline Kramlich and a half-brother, Adolph Kramlich.

Visitation: 1:00 to 5:00 PM, Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND.

Burial: Wishek City Cemetery, Wishek, North Dakota.
