Reuben Allen Moser, 60, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Thursday, February 12, 2009 at his home.
Reuben was born March 31, 1948 in Jamestown, the son of Edwin C. and Leona (Fondrick) Moser. He grew up north of Medina and served in the U.S. Army in Germany where he got his GED. He worked at Dakota Brands Int'l for 39 years, where he was the plant manager at the time of his death. On January 12, 1973 he married Barbara Wanner in Jamestown.
Reuben enjoyed being outdoors, watching pheasants, deer and geese, riding his ATV and Jeep, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren.
Reuben is survived by his wife, Barbara, Jamestown; two daughters, Cristin (Jason) Gums, Red Lake Falls, MN, and Amy Moser, Jamestown; five grandchildren, Taylor, Alysa and Brady Gums, Red Lake Falls, MN and Tamara and Macee Moser, Jamestown; three sisters, Sally (Ron) Kraft, Bismarck, ND, Sarah (Richard) Long, Bismarck, ND, and Clara (Melvin) Henke, Jamestown; one brother, Eddie Moser, Bismarck, ND; one sister-in-law, Jackie Moser, Kelowena, B.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; one brother, LeRoy; two brothers-in-law, Ron Kroh and Bob O'Neill; one sister-in-law, Shannon Moser and a nephew, Robbie O'Neill.
Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Monday, February 16, 2009 at Atonement Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Steve Bernston officiating.
Visitation: 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown and one hour before the service at the church.
Burial in the spring: Glueckstal Lutheran Cemetery, south of Tappen, North Dakota.
