Richard “Dick” Reiten

Richard “Dick” L. Reiten, 73, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Friday evening, October 2, 2020 at his residence.

Richard was born August 18, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Andy and Margorie Jean

(Linn) Reiten. He grew up and attended school in Petersburg, ND. He graduated from Unity High School in 1965. He attended college at Valley City State College and Aakers Business College. He married Joline Kvernen in February of 1967. They lived in Larimore, Grafton and moved to Wimbledon, ND in 1980. He worked for Wimbledon Implement for many years. They later moved to Jamestown and he began working for KSJB radio station in sales until his passing. He was a huge sports fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings and coached his sons in youth softball. He was especially proud of all his grandkids and their accomplishments.

Richard is survived by his two sons, Bradley (Kathi) Reiten, West Fargo, ND; and Brian (Betsy) Reiten, Jamestown; a daughter, Michelle Reiten, Jamestown; five grandchildren, Austin, Nathan, Morgan, Adam, and Emily; and sister, Diane Dalby, Dana, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Joline.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown with Pastor Tom Eckstein officiating.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020 at Concordia Lutheran Church with Pastor
