Richard John Szarkowski

Richard “Dick” Szarkowski, son of John and Virginia “Jean” Szarkowski, born August 19th, 1947, left this world July 29th, 2021.

Dick attended Jamestown high school and served four years in the Air Force. Returning to Jamestown from Great Britain with his Beatle Boots, the girls lined up to dance with him.  With his dimpled smile and quick wit, he charmed the women and made friends with the men from his time as a UPS driver and throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Tom.

He is survived by his brother Bill, sisters Jane and Linda, and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
