Rita Rose Bell

Rita Bell, 68, of Windsor, ND, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at her home near Windsor.

Rita Rose Cichos was born April 1, 1942, on the family farm near Windsor, ND, the daughter of Joseph and Hattie (Kulla) Cichos. She was educated at Moon Lake township school, St. John's Academy in Jamestown, and graduated from Jamestown High School. Rita married Lanny Bell on December 29, 1958 in Windsor. Rita graduated from Jamestown College with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing and began working for the North Dakota State Hospital in 1961. She became an RN in 1973 and continued working at the North Dakota State Hospital, retiring in 2004 due to ill health. Rita enjoyed gardening, gambling, and her cats.

Rita is survived by her husband, Lanny Bell, Windsor, ND; two brothers, Lawrence (Dorothy) Cichos, Bennett, CO and Ron Cichos, Tucson, AZ; five sisters, Marguerite Hall, Riverside, CA, Lorraine Bair, Windsor, ND, Arlene McClure, Valley City, ND, Elaine Jaskowski, Jamestown, ND, and Carol (John) Rowell, Jamestown, ND; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Richard.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 20, 2010 at St. Mathias Catholic Church, Windsor, ND.

Visitation: None scheduled. Arrangements by the Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
