Robert B. Bartlett, 67, of Courtenay, ND, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown, ND.

Robert Blake Bartlett was born September 15, 1940 in McHenry, North Dakota, the son of Allen and Lucy (Allen) Bartlett. He received his education from McHenry High School. Robert married Gloria on April 3, 1964. They made their home in McHenry until 1969 when they moved to Courtenay, ND. He owned and operated Bob's Backhoe Service until the time of his illness. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards with his friends, and attending his grandchildren's events.

Robert is survived by one son, Shayne (Angy) Bartlett, Courtenay, ND; two daughters, Bobbi Jo Bartlett, Riverdale, ND and Kara (Jason) Bartlett, Jamestown, ND; five grandchildren, Lindsay, Tucker, Taylor, Lawson, and Liam; two brothers, Bill (JoAnn) Bartlett and Dick (Erva) Bartlett, both of McHenry, ND; and five sisters, Daisy (Charles) Hurt, Round Up, MT, Goldie (Robert) Olsen, West Fargo, ND, Maggie (Bud) Hoyt, Clearwater, MN, Dorothy (Floren) Burrows, Round Up, MT, and Evanell (Marvin) Miska, McHenry, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

Memorial Service: 10:30AM, Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Father Steven Meyer officiating.

Prayer Service: 7:30PM, Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Burial: Courtenay Cemetery, Courtenay, ND.
