Robert ""Bob"" Lee Dalke, 44, Minneapolis, Minnesota, formerly of Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, October 12, 2009 at his home.
Bob was born May 14, 1965 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Arvin and Dee (DeWitt) Dalke. He attended various schools in Wyoming until the family moved to Jamestown, ND in 1976. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1983. He attended the University of North Dakota where he received a degree in Business. After graduating from college he moved to Minneapolis, MN, where he worked for Norwest Bank, Wells Fargo and GMAC Home Mortgage.
Bob enjoyed bowling, baseball, golfing, biking, fishing and hunting. He was very kind, loved to laugh, and tried to find humor in as much of his life as was possible. Bob loved being around his family and spending time with them. He also enjoyed playing the Anne Carlsen Golf Tournament every year. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched.
Bob is survived by his parents, Arvin and Dee Dalke and his brother, Ron Dalke, Jamestown, ND and a special friend, Allison Johnson, Minneapolis, MN.
Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 5:00 PM, Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Friday, October 16, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Heart Association or the Jamestown Hospital New Building Fund.
