Robert Lagodinski

Robert Lagodinski, 71, Edgeley, ND, died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.
Robert Lee Lagodinski was born November 24, 1935 at Edgeley, ND, the son of Tony and Myrtle (Getz) Lagodinski. He was raised on the family farm and attended school in Edgeley. After his schooling he farmed with his parents. On August 7, 1955, he married Joan Persson at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND. In 1956, they moved to Ontario, CA where he worked for Young's Market Company of Los Angeles, CA. They returned to Edgeley, ND in May of 1966 where he worked as a Digger Truck Operator for James Valley Electric Co-op and later as a journeyman/lineman for 12 years. He later farmed with his son, Kim, on a farm near Edgeley until 1980, when he purchased Bob's Standard Oil Station in Edgeley which he owned and operated for 7 years. In 1987, he sold the Standard Station and worked as a driver for Concrete Dakota of Edgeley. He later moved to Moorhead, MN where he worked for T. F. Powers Construction of Fargo for 2 years and then for Case IH for 7 years until he retired and returned to Edgeley, ND where he has lived until the present.
Robert was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church in Edgeley, ND.
Survivors include his wife; 4 children: Jerry (LeAnn) Lagodinski, Edgeley, ND; Kevin (Sheila) Lagodinski, Fargo, ND; Jeff (Shelley) Lagodinski, Ellendale, ND; Joey Lagodinski, Playa del Rey, CA; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 brothers: Leon (Karen) Lagodinski, Edgeley, ND; Victor (Marie) Lagodinski, Edgeley, ND; Father Dale Lagodinski, Wahpeton, ND; and a sister, Loya Dallmann, Edgeley, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kim; brother, Don and sister, Sharon.
Funeral - 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND
Prayer Service - 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND
Visitation - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel Edgeley, ND; 1 hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
Interment - Mount Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley, ND
