Bob W. Weber, 84, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017, in his home at Jamestown, ND.
Bob, son of Ryan and Dorothy (McGrath) Weber, was born March 23, 1933 at Marion. He attended school in Saratoga Township until the 8th grade, when he transferred to Marion, graduating in 1951. After graduation, he farmed with his father and worked briefly at J.C. Miller elevator.
Bob and Carol (Stoehr) were married September 5, 1955 in Jamestown. Bob worked for a short time at the Coca-Cola plant in Jamestown. They then moved to the family farm in Marion. Bob drove school bus for five years during the 1960s. They continued to farm with Bob’s parents, Ryan and Dorothy Weber, until their retirement in 1973, when Bob and Carol bought the farm. Bob was a long-time member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Marion until its closing. Bob and Carol continued to live on the family farm until 2007, when they moved to Jamestown.
Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol, Jamestown; their 6 children & families - Randy & Kristen Weber, Wheatland; Lori & Al Vesel, Jamestown; Larry & Kristi Weber, Jamestown; Keri & Rick Sailer, LaMoure; Bobbi Rode & Charlie Davis, Ypsilanti; Billi & Mike Zupan, Jamestown; grandchildren & great grandchildren - Derek & Carolyn Weber; Brook & Travis Fretheim, Ryan & Lily; Scott & Kendra Otto & Wade; Whitney Weber & Kelly Gordon, Kiera & Zoe; Logan Weber; Cody & Jesse Sailer & Max; Cali Sailer & Cayla; Casey Sailer & Andrea Watkins; Zach Rode & Amanda Michel; Jaden Rode; Meranda Zupan; Michael Zupan & Erin Edman. He is also survived by a sister, Elaine Hoekstra, Barnesville, MN; a sister-in-law, Donna Tompkins, Jamestown; furry friend, Oscar, & several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ryan & Dorothy Weber; an infant son; great grandson, Joshua Sailer; brothers-in-law - Gil Tompkins, Roy Hoekstra and Larry Stoehr; & a sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Martin Drost.

Mass of Christian Burial : 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, ND.
Prayer Service : 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown.
Inurnment: Lakeview Cemetery, Marion, ND.
