Robert ""Bob"" Winning, 62, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown.
Bob was born September 20, 1941 in Jamestown the son of Melvin and Frieda (Hertel) Winning. He attended school in Jamestown. Bob married Betty Job and they lived in Jamestown for a few years before moving to Carrington where they owned and operated an appliance store. He moved back to Jamestown and married Jeralyn Kutz. Bob was employed by West End Hide & Fur for 15 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pinochle with friends, tinkering with automobiles and spending time with his dog.
Bob is survived by four daughters, Deb Schafer, Jamestown; Janette (Todd) Ingebretson, Carrington, ND; Bobbi (Tim) Indergaard, Carrington, ND and April (Chris) McGruder, Kalispell, MT, eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one sister, Carol (Bud) Brandt, Big Stone City, SD and a special friend, Trish Wittmer, Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jay.
Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Friday, August 20, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.
Visitation: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Friday, August 20, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota at a later date.
