Rodney Dale and Janet Ruth (Fenno) Larson went together into eternity on November 17th at their home in rural Spiritwood North Dakota. The couple was joyfully married for 53 years. Both were born in rural North Dakota and were 71 years old at their passing. Rod was a retired farrier and still working auctioneer. Jan worked for the state of North Dakota for over 30 years. Rod and Jan were actively involved in their church, Victory Lutheran. Both loved to spend time outdoors, gardening and tending to their animals and developed a deep love for traveling. It thrilled them to show up unannounced in Texas, New York and Missouri to surprise their boys. They really enjoyed fishing and camping with friends. They loved to be surrounded by family and friends and worked so hard to make each grandchild feel special when they came to visit at the farm. Rod and Jan are survived by their three sons; Jeffrey and his wife Katia from Seabrook, TX, Mark Rodney and his wife Mary Louise from Warwick, NY, and Kelly Brian and his wife Tammy from Seneca, MO. Grand kids are Mark Anthony, Parker, Rachel, Ashley Grace, Brayden and Dylan. Great Grandkids are Raine, Mireyja and Grayson. Rod's mother, Eileen Larson, Jamestown, ND and his brother, Roy Larson and his wife DiAnne from Alexandria, MN. Jan's sisters, Dee and her husband Lawrence Peterson from Dickey, ND, Shari Price and her husband John from Eau Claire, WI, Pam Beiber, Jamestown, ND and many nieces, nephews and friends.
They are predeceased by Rod's dad, Dale Larson and Jan's parents Max and Irene Fenno and Rod's sister Sharon Pearson.
Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, November 21, 2014 at Victory Lutheran Brethren Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Shawn Bowman, officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Thursday, November 20 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 20 at Victory Lutheran Brethren Church.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
