Rodney Molgard, 49, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at his home after a courageous fight with cancer.
Mr. Molgard was born July 11, 1957 in Harvey, ND, the son of Harold D. and Carrie (Fagering) Molgard. He received his education in Valley City and Jamestown schools, graduating from Jamestown High School. He attended college at Bottineau and Wahpeton, returning to live and work in Jamestown. Rodney married Julie Manley and to this union were born three daughters; Danielle, Katie and Nicole. He worked at the Quality Inn, Jamestown.
Rodney enjoyed fishing, playing cards, bowling, and spending time with his family and friends.
Rodney is survived by his three daughters; Danielle (Mark) Maple, Jamestown, Katie Molgard (James Pogatshnik), St. Paul, MN and Nicole Molgard, Jamestown; two grandchildren, Carolyn and Carson Maple, Jamestown; two aunts, Mary Hoyt, Jamestown and Leone (Glen) Stenberg, Bismarck, ND and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and aunts & uncles.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 13, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown with Rev. Terry Anderson officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 12, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
