Ronald L. Dalke

Ronald ""Ron"" Lynn Dalke, 43, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at his home.

Ron was born September 8, 1967 in Douglas, Wyoming, the son of Arvin and Dee (DeWitt) Dalke. He attended schools in Douglas until the family moved to Jamestown in 1976. Ron graduated from Jamestown High School in 1985 and attended Valley City State College. He was employed at Jamestown Grain Inspection for two years. Ron worked as a chemist at the Cargill Malt Plant in Spiritwood, ND the past 20 years.

Ron did taxidermy work, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, watching football, especially his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins, and he loved to draw. He also played the guitar and was a member of the band called ""Mayhem."" He enjoyed going to his hunting shack with friends and his dog, ""Sadie.""

Ron is survived by his parents, Arvin & Dee Dalke, Jamestown; a special friend, Tally Guthmiller, Medina, ND; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother, Robert in 2009.
