Ronald B. Erickson

Ronald B. Erickson, 73, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Jamestown Hospital.

Ronald was born July 10, 1935 to Bernard and Marjorie (Stowe) Erickson in Jamestown. He attended school and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1954. He enlisted in the US Army on March 31, 1955 in Fargo, ND and was a wheel vehicle mechanic. After his discharge on March 29, 1957 he returned to Jamestown and began working for Bridgeman Creamery. On August 10, 1957 Ron married Betty Louise Knudson. He retired from Bridgeman Creamery in 1992.

Ron enjoyed his family most of all, fishing, coffee with friends, attending area sporting events and traveling.

Ron is survived by his wife, Betty; six children, Dana (Michael) Larson of Kalispel, MT, Denise (Richard) Cashion of Shreveport, LA, Ronald (Jennifer) Erickson of Phoenix, AZ, Lisa (Todd) Wibstad of Jamestown, ND, Lori (Michael) Morse of Fargo, ND, Kristin Moeller of West Fargo, ND; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, June Cobb of Cora Peake, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Arlene and son-in-law, Kelvin Moeller.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, August 11, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church, Jamestown, with Pastor David Thompson officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 10, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.
