Rosalie Rosenau, 88, Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Rosalie Reis was born February 17, 1922, in Napoleon, ND, the daughter of John and Eva (Roehrich) Reis. She received her education in Linton, ND and Bismarck, ND, and later in Fargo, ND and St. Paul, MN. Rosalie married Albert Rosenau on November 14, 1944 in Bismarck, ND. They lived in the Wilton, Tuttle, and Bismarck, ND areas.

Rosalie enjoyed music, playing cards, and crocheting. She cherished life loved attending activities with people, and visiting her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivers include her daughter, Dianne (Allan) Zerr, Jamestown; two grandchildren, Trev (Lorisa) Zerr, Jamestown and Tara (Cody) Jorgenson, Hettinger, ND; seven great-grandchildren, Landon, Maddux, Mason, and Megan Zerr and Bennett, Gracia, and Brecken Jorgenson; two sisters, Cecelia Thomas, Dickinson, ND and Patty (Bob) Christy, Denver, CO; and three brothers, Albinus (Adaline) Reis, Bismarck, ND, Steve (Caroline) Reis, Tucson, AZ, and Larry (Delores) Reis, Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Maggie Mischel; and two brothers, Mel and Johnny Reis.

Funeral Service - 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 27, 2010 at Ave Marie Village, Jamestown.

Visitation - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 27, 2010 at Ave Maria Village.

Interment - St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck, ND.
