Rose Conley, 91, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown, ND.
Rose J. Cannuli was born November 7, 1920 at Geneva, New York the daughter of Jack and Rose (Bregandi) Cannuli. She was raised and attended school in Geneva, NY. Following her schooling, she went to work for Kenny's Shoe Store in Geneva and later worked for the Sperry-Hutchinson Green Stamp Center also in Geneva. She met Randolph Greco and they were married at Geneva, NY. Randolph died in Normandy in 1944. On September 29, 1951 she married Clayton Conley at Sampson, NY and they made their home in Jamestown. Rose worked for the Sunshine Laundromat in Jamestown for over 20 years. Clayton was co-owner of Conley Implement and was a building contractor until his retirement in 1986. He died December 14, 2009.
Rose was a volunteer at Central Dakota Village for 38 years, where she called Bingo twice a week and helped with special events. She enjoyed reading and, while in New York, attending the opera.
Rose is survived by nephews, Al Conley and Cole Conley, Jamestown and Tommy Cannuli and Jeff Cannuli, Geneva, NY; and nieces, Linda Rozelle and Mona Sparr, Geneva, NY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; 3 brothers, Nicky, Chippy, and Jim; 2 sisters, Mary and Jane .
Eucharist of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.
Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Interment: Spiritwood Cemetery, Spiritwood, ND.
