Rose Pfarr

Rose Pfarr, 95, Jamestown, ND, formerly of Cleveland, ND, died Monday, August 27, 2007 at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown, ND.
Rose Cichos was born August 28, 1911 at Wells, MN, the daughter of John and Mary (Staloch) Cichos. She was raised near Windsor, ND and attended the Moon Lake Township School. On July 14, 1930, she married Arthur Pfarr at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Windsor, ND. They farmed in the Windsor and Cleveland area until moving into Cleveland in 1955. Arthur died April 15, 1994. In October of 2003, Rose moved to Rock of Ages Assisted Living Care Center in Jamestown, ND, and in September of 2005, she moved to Central Dakota Village in Jamestown, ND where she lived until the present.
Rose was a member of St. Mathias Catholic Church, Windsor, ND and the VFW Auxiliary.
Rose was a very kind, giving and loving person and always had hugs and kisses for everyone that came to see her. She was a great lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include 2 sons: Gene Pfarr, St. Onge, SD; James (Marie) Pfarr, Cleveland, ND; a daughter, Jeanette (Marvin) Fettig, Bismarck, ND; a daughter-in-law, Myrtle Pfarr, Whitewood, SD; 6 grandsons: Jerry (Jean) Pfarr, Winnemucca, NV; Jay (Melynda) Pfarr, Belle Fourche, SD; Randy (Joyce) Pfarr, Deadwood, SD; Allan (Nancy) Pfarr, Spearfish, SD; Robert (Andi) Pfarr, Spearfish, SD; Brian (Jenny) Fettig, Bismarck, ND; 2 granddaughters: Angela (Ryan) Lehr, Jamestown, ND; Kimberly (Steve) Hesford, Cheyenne, WY; a sister, Mary Deery, Jamestown, ND; 7 great-grandsons: Preston Fettig, Brock Fettig, Aaron Pfarr, Jack Hesford, Jeremy Pfarr, Alex Pfarr and Dalton Pfarr; 5 great-granddaughters: Taya Fettig, Adrian Pfarr, Jaden Rose Hesford, Jillian Pfarr, Morgan Pfarr; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; her son, Donald; daughter-in-law, Arlene Pfarr; 7 brothers: Curly, Joe, Paul, Andrew, Roman, Philip and Basil Cichos and 5 sisters: Anna Stroh, Min Liebe, Gert Davis, Helen Landscoot and Ceil Cichos.
Funeral - 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2007 at St. Mathias Catholic Church, Windsor, ND.
Rosary - 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND
Prayer Service - 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND
Visitation - 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services on Thursday.
Interment - St. Pauline's Cemetery, Windsor, ND
