Rose Marie Sender

Rose Sender, 64, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Monday, October 20, 2008 at Golden Acres Manor, Carrington, ND.

Rose Marie Saari was born August 14, 1944 in Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Oleta (Binford) Saari. As a child, she lived in Duluth, MN and later, Jamestown, ND where she finished school and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1962. On March 10, 1963, she married Kim Sender in Jamestown, ND and they lived on a farm near Jud, ND. She lived in several North Dakota towns before returning to Jamestown. In 2007, she entered Golden Acres Manor in Carrington, ND due to ill health.

Survivors include 2 daughters: Jody Gabel, West Fargo, ND; Gail Widmer, Fargo, ND; 3 grandchildren: Roxanne (Tyler) Wanzek, Christopher Gabel and Cassandra Gabel; a great-granddaughter, Hailey; a brother, Robert Saari, Battle Lake, MN 2 nephews: Mark and Bobby and a niece, Rhonda.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation - 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND

Interment - Sunset Memorial Garden, Fargo, ND
