Rosie Krein, 89, Jamestown, ND died at Innovis Hospital, Fargo, ND on Wednesday, May 2, 2007.
Rosie Bollinger was born on August 25, 1917 on the family farm south east of Lehr, ND the daughter of Christ and Frederica (Hien) Bollinger. She attended school near Lehr, Kulm and Diesem and also worked for area farmers as a housekeeper. Rosie married Theodore Krein on January 19, 1937 at LaMoure, ND. They settled on a farm near Nortonville, ND and later purchased a farm and farmed near Millerton, ND. They retired in 1978 and continued to live on the farm. Theodore died April 28, 1989 and Rosie moved into Jamestown at that time.
Survivors include 3 sons, Elmer and Art, both Jamestown, ND, Marvin (Barbara), Bismarck, ND; 3 daughters, Esther (Jim) Officer, Gwinner, ND, Della (Allen) Vollmer, Drake, ND and Carol (Gary) Ryum, Minot, ND; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Katie White, Jamestown, and Adeline Thiesen, Drayton, ND and 1 brother, Steve Bollinger, Sequim, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 son Ronald, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral - 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Jamestown, ND
Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown,
Visitation - 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
Interment - Sunset Memorial Garden, ND
