Ruby Tuman

Ruby Esther Tuman, 92, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Ruby Esther Gossett was born June 4, 1918 in Spiritwood, North Dakota the daughter of Hiriam F. and Mary J. (Johnson) Gossett. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1936. On March 19, 1953, Ruby married Rhody F. Tuman in Libby, Montana. They lived in Stevensville, MT, where they owned and operated the Stevensville Hotel. Rhody died in 1973. Ruby moved to Jamestown in 2001. She loved to bowl.

Ruby is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Babe Gossett and sister, Mary Fredricks, both of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers and one sister.

No service or visitation is planned.
