Sandy Young

Sandra M. (Cebula) Young, 65, Jamestown, ND died Friday, October 21, 2022 at her home.

Sandy was born June 18, 1957 in Jamestown, ND the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Steckler) Cebula.  She grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School.  She then attended Jamestown College in 1988 with a degree in Business.

Sandy was united in marriage to Drexel Young, Jr., on June 10, 1989.  Sandy was employed at Western Gear, Doerrs Jewelry, Larson Law Firm PC, Merrick & Schauer Law Firm, sold Signature Homestyle Products and most recently retired as a co-owner of Two Rivers Estate Sales.  She continued working part-time at Junk in the Trunk and volunteered at Kirkpatrick Gallery at the Frontier Fort.

She enjoyed making jewelry, playing on a pool league, antiquing and spending time with family and friends.

Sandy is survived by her husband, three brothers Stan (Patty) Cebula, Jamestown, ND, Steve (Polly) Cebula, Rugby, ND, Sam (Nancy) Cebula, Kenosha, WI; three sisters Sharon (Richie) Ackerman, Wimbledon, ND, Susan (Rick) Gums, Jamestown, ND, Stacy Kracht (Ken Mull) Gwinner, ND; many nieces and nephews Jeremy (Krista) Cebula, Anne Schaar, Brian (Demaris Miller) Getz, Keith (Kristi) Getz, Coreen (Daniel) Lovacs, Erin (Ricardo) Ovalle, Jessica (Douglas) Drummond, Shawn (Lisa) Lee, Deb (Darin) Fisher, Patricia Wick, Phil (Amy Lunzman) Gums, Rachel Olson, Cassandra Cebula (Scott Oberg), Shanda Goecks (Joseph), Miranda Cebula, Laura Hamm, Charlie Hamm, Helayna Kracht (Brandon Lacher), Hayes Kracht (Dakota Brinson), Harper Kracht, Kristie Engels, Greg (Chris) Engels, Kathy (Brent) Farrel and her beloved furry friends; Miss Lily, Loki, Freya and Louie and many great nieces and nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and in-laws Rex (Helen) Young and a sister Shirley Hutchins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service to follow at 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 30 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 31, 2022 at 1st Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Greg Allen officiating.
