Sharon Sheetz, 74, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Wednesday morning, November 14, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center, Bismarck.
Sharon was born June 9, 1944, in Great Falls, MT, the daughter of Ruth (Sylvester) LaRosa and Dominick LaRosa. She grew up in Lewistown, MT and graduated from high school in 1963. She attended Northwest College in Kirkland, WA and went on to Presentation School of Nursing in Aberdeen, SD, and graduated in 1967 as an RN. Sharon attended First Assembly of God church.
She married Terry “Butch” Sheetz on July 26, 1968 in Jamestown, and to this union was born one daughter, Lynette. She worked as an RN and also had secretarial jobs and worked in a clinic. Butch passed away on January 7, 2012.
Sharon is survived by her granddaughter, Jaymee George; son-in-law, Lanny George; twin sister, Karen (Larry) O’Daniel; sisters-in-law, Judy Wilson, Lois Denny, and Jean Johnson; brothers-in-law, Bruce (Connie) Sheetz and Jeff (Jan) Sheetz; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Lynette George.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018 at First Assembly of God, Jamestown.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
