Sheila Schnabel

Sheila Mae Schnabel, 75, of Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, March 3, 2022, joining her creator and other family and friends in heaven.

Sheila was born February 12, 1947, in Jamestown joining her Schnabel family. She was baptized at the Ebenezer Baptist Church of Lehr, ND December 16, 1956.  She graduated from Lehr High School May 1964.

Sheila worked as a nurse’s aide at the Jamestown Hospital for many years. She was an avid member of the Temple Baptist Church and attended the Temple Baptist Church bible study group. Sheila was a fan of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. NASCAR was one of her favorite things to follow. She enjoyed Chinese cuisine and during her life she enjoyed Hawaii and traveling as she was able.

Sheila is survived by Floyd Schnabel and Shirley Essig along with several nieces and nephews.

Sheila was preceded in death from her Schnabel family Julius and Ella (Weixel) Schnabel, Gladys Becker, Wilbert Schnabel, and Jerry Schnabel.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Lehr Cemetery.
