Sheila Thompson Braun

Sheila Thompson Braun, 65, Jamestown, ND passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Eventide Jamestown.

Sheila Marie Thompson was born on July 10, 1957 to Victor Earl Thompson and Mildred Guyott Thompson.  She grew up in Oakes, ND graduating from Oakes High School in 1976.

In the fall of 1999 Sheila married Al Braun in Jamestown, ND.  They enjoyed traveling to many different states.  Sheila’s faith kept her active in her church.  She enjoyed church services and church activities.  She also enjoyed being on a bowling league, she was very proud of all of her trophies.

In the spring of 2008, she met her very dear friend Robert Fulton.  They enjoyed traveling with Sheila’s mother to many places and just spending time together.

Sheila is survived by her special friend Robert Fulton, Perham, MN; five brothers, Victor (Linda) Thompson, Alan (Carol) Thompson, Robert Thompson, Tim Thompson, Terry Thompson, Jamestown, ND; four sisters, Joann Deede, Jamestown, ND, Pat (Will) Larson, Sharon Hanson, Maryann (Mark) Sommerland and many nieces and nephews.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brothers-in-law, Harold, Art and John, sister-in-law Cathy and numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Erik Weber officiating.  Interment will be in St. Charles Catholic Church, Oakes, ND.
