Shirley Iverson Davis

Shirley “Squeak” Davis, 80, of Jamestown, ND passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at her home.

Shirley was born September 29, 1937, in Glover, ND, the daughter of Carl and Mary (Hajek) Iverson. After graduating from Oakes High School, she moved to Spokane, WA. Shirley returned to Oakes where she met Phillip Davis from Edgeley, ND. They moved to Missoula, MT in 1976 and lived there with their children until moving back to North Dakota. Shirley made the best pickled beets…bar none.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Phillip; sons, Patrick (Chris) Davis, Mike Davis; daughters, Kelly Kane and Jane (Henderson) Grendahl; five grandchildren, Nick Davis, Ryan Davis, Pat Davis, Jr., Jenna Grendahl and Eric Grendahl; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ernest, Earl, Inez, and Sue.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Carroll, Bob, Charlie, Romie, Lawrence, Arvid, Evelyn, Don, and Allen.

Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Eddy Funeral Home.
