Shirley Ross

Shirley Ross, 74, Edgeley, ND, died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.
Shirley Ramona Michlitsch was born April 7, 1933 in Britton, SD, the daughter of George and Katie (Ehl) Michlitsch. She completed her first year of school in Britton, SD and then moved with her family to Pierpont, SD where she continued school, graduating in 1953. After graduating, she moved to Aberdeen, SD, where she worked as a housekeeper and also at the Woolworth's store. On July 21, 1957, she married Carl Ross in Aberdeen, SD, and they settled on a farm near Edgeley, ND where they have lived until the present.
Survivors include her husband; 2 sons: Ricky Ross, Edgeley, ND; Terry Ross, Larimore, ND; a sister, Darlene Birchem, Battle Lake, MN and a brother, Irenus Michlitsch, Britten, SD.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Roger.
Funeral Service - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley, ND with Reverend Alan Eppen officiating.
Visitation - 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND.
