Steve J Lambert

Steven J. Lambert, 59, of Edgeley, ND, passed away at his home on Sunday afternoon, February 28, 2021.

Steve was born February 15, 1962, in Jamestown, ND, the son of Merlin and Julia (Marquart) Lambert.  He grew up on the family farm north of Edgeley and graduated from Edgeley High School in 1981.  Steve worked for area farmers and did carpentry work as well.  He was united in marriage to Joanne Sjostrom on November 3, 1984 at Jamestown.  They lived in Edgeley for several years before moving to the family farm where they raised two children. Steve enjoyed being a grain farmer and had a passion for classic cars and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Steve is survived by his wife, Joanne Lambert; daughter, Heidi (Burt) Fischer; son, Brock Lambert; granddaughter, Evelyn Fischer; sisters, Cathy (Dick) Okerlund and Anita (Rick) McLain; brother, Myron Lambert; father and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Alida Sjostrom; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Chris) Gisi, Bob (Wilma) Sjostrom, and Steve (Becky) Sjostrom; sister-in-law, Sue Kellar; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne Lambert.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND with Father Jake Miller officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at the church.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at the church.

Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley.
