Steve Szarkowski

Steve Szarkowski, 64, of Chandler AZ, was born in Jamestown, ND on Oct 9, 1954 to Jim and Yvonne Szarkowski. He graduated from Wimbledon High School in 1972. He graduated from North Dakota State School of Science in Electronic Technology in 1974. He worked at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids Iowa until 1984 when he moved to the Phoenix Arizona area and worked for Motorola and other technology companies in the Phoenix area. He was an electrical engineering graduate of Arizona State University. He died March 25, 2019 due to complications of diabetes.

He is survived by his parents, Jim and Yvonne, Jamestown, brothers Keven, Jamestown, and Doug (Sandy) Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, nieces Abby, Jessica (Jake), Christina (Christopher) Jordan, and Rebecca (Trevor) Haag.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Wimbledon, ND, with Father Sean Mulligan officiating.

Interment: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fried, ND.
