Susanne Beard

Susanne M. Beard, 78, formerly of Bismarck, ND, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at North Star Manor in Warren, MN. She was the wife of the late Keith D. Beard who passed away August 9, 2013. Born in Bismarck, Susanne was the daughter of the late Art and Irene Miller. Susanne retired from the Baptist Home in Bismarck, where she worked as a restorative therapist. Susanne loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, horseback riding, fishing, reading, watching football, and cooking with her family and friends.

Susanne is survived by her children, Cyndy (Monte) Rodacker, North Dakota; Rhea (David) George,  Pennsylvania; Tracy (Cheryl) Bischoff, Florida; LeAnn (Doyle) Olson, Minnesota; Richard (Linda) Gorde, Montana; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary (Bill) Jensen, Arizona, Linda (Wendell) Vigen, North Dakota, Wendy (Pat) Falter, North Dakota, Alice Boucher; and brothers, Michael (Geri) Miller, Montana, Marvin (Mary Jo) Miller, Montana, and Mark (Kathy) Miller, North Dakota.

Susanne was preceded in death by her sisters Bobbi Agnew, Lorraine Devers, brothers Thomas Miller, James Miller, Leroy Miller, 2 grandchildren, Jason and Veronica and 2 nephews, Andy and Cory.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the charity or animal shelter of one’s choice in memory of Susanne Beard.

Interment - 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2023 at Calvary Cemetery in Jamestown, ND.
